  *Lake Level Adjustments

​

 Each winter, there is an attempt to open the drainpipe in the dam to lower the water level in   the lake. This usually occurs between October 1st and late November. The QLA Board of       Directors recommends removing boats from the lake by the end of the first week of October.   The drainpipe is then normally closed in the spring (around April 1st) to ensure the water   level  returns to normal. Homeowners should be aware of these adjustments and plan       accordingly.
